Film City is an integrated film studio complex with various facilities for making a complete film/movie. It has several recording rooms, gardens, lakes, theatres and grounds that serve as the venue of many film shootings. It was built to provide facilities to build a complete film in a cost effective manner.

RAMOJI FILM CITY(Andhra Pradesh, India):

The Ramoji Film City in India, is the world's largest integrated film studio complex at over 2,000 acres (8.1 km2) of land, situated near Hayathnagar in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It is also a popular tourism and recreation centre, containing both natural and artificial attractions including an amusement park. The Outer Ring Road Phase 2 has acquired lands at the entrance and is set to intersect the city. But it will no longer be regarded as the world's largest integrated film studio complex. Built on 2,700 acres, Prayag Film City at Chandrakona, a 90-minute drive from the city, is set to become the largest in the world.

NOIDA FILM CITY (Uttar Pradesh, India):

The sprawling 100-acre (0.40 km2) Film City was established in 1987. The studio includes over 25 acres (100,000 m2) of indoor soundstages. Though just over two decades old, the Film City has been a host to a number of shootings for various feature films; both for the mainstream Hindi cinema and for a large number of regional films made in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Kashmiri,Oriya and other Indian languages.
